I enjoy detailed writing with proper spelling and grammar. I can be flexible but it's difficult to consistently respond to three or four sentences. To give you an idea of how long my posts are, I typically write 1600-2000 characters on Discord, or approximately five to six "parts" in-game.
(2000 characters is the post limit in Discord without Nitro)I know the difference between fantasy and reality, and I expect my RP partners to likewise know the same.
History
Aston grew up traveling throughout Eorzea, as his parents were both successful bards for a dancing troupe. He never settled in one place for long, instead traveling to whatever place the troupe took him.
(His parents insist that he was born in Hingashi, but he suspects that he was born on the airship.)
After his 16th summer, he decided to explore Eorzea on his own, follow his parent's footsteps and become a bard. However, after several years of training and working as a bard, he realized that he was not cut out for this line of work. He was not nearly as successful as his parents, and he was barely scraping by, living day to day.
One fateful night after performing at the Forgotten Knight, he stumbled across the Athenaeum Astrologicum, where he was introduced to Sharlayan Astrology. While he was often observed gazing at the stars in his youth, it never occurred to him that astrology was useful to adventurers. In fact, there were rumours of "witchcraft" within such a field. Unfazed by the rumours, and realizing that his passion did not lie within barding, as least not as a means to survive, he began his training as an Astrologian that night.
More recently, with a moderate mastery of arcane theory and his ability to mend the wounds of his companions, he could be seen completing dangerous tasks with a group of adventurers. He still performs music on the side, which he finds more enjoyable when he does not rely on this income stream to survive. He may be found frequenting smaller pubs, playing to a captive audience. Larger venues with rowdy audiences tend to put him off. Fulfilling dangerous tasks is more lucrative though, as high risk and high reward go hand in hand.
With the higher mortality rate that befalls adventurers in general, he knows that life is short. As a result, he lives in the present, and when he is not performing or in the wild slaying beasts, he frequents nightclubs in search of pleasure for the night.Aston owns a chocobo who he has named "Chocobro". He received this red-plumed bird as a gift, and is larger than most chocobos, allowing for two riders at the same time. The name started off as a joke from one of his friends but has grown on both of them. Chocobro is stabled by his apartment most of the time, but is called into service when Aston needs to travel long distances without the benefit of teleportation.
